We use this to test for fuel or ignition faults. We can use this to see if the catalytic convertor and lambda sensors are operating correctly and when combined with data readings and fault codes retrieved using the scanning equipment makes for a reliable diagnosis and repair.
We can also test exhaust emissions for a pre MOT test, especially handy on older vehicles that may require major work to get an MOT, thus allowing customers the choice or option before the MOT expires to have any remedial work carried out or to find a replacement vehicle if neeeded.
